Analytical Music Therapy Training
This post-graduate training program holds the following components: Individual music therapy experience, Intertherapy, Individual supervision, and Group supervision.
Dr. Harris offers supervision which uses a combination of active music making, creative exploration and dialogue to delve and explore clinical questions and concerns. Using analytic and creative explorations can help working clinicians gain deeper insight into the viewpoint of clients as well as the underlying and unconscious material of the therapist. Supervision can also help support concerns about work environment, client population and intervention techniques. Clinical supervision can also take place via web-conference for those not in the NYC metro area.
